ILA offers a structured career pathway and encourages teachers to progress into senior roles. Many of our management team started their career with ILA as teachers, and have gone on to become Academic Coordinators, Assistant Academic Managers and Academic Managers.

ILA will support committed and enthusiastic teachers every step of the way.

At ILA there are opportunities to teach across a wide range of ages and levels. Our young learners are split into ILA Jumpstart (4 – 6 years old), ILA Juniors (6 – 11 years old), ILA Seniors (11 – 15 years old) and ILA Elite (16 – 18 years old). For each age group there are 9 levels from beginner to advanced. In all young learner classes there is a teaching assistant to help with classroom management and communicating with parents.

Teaching adults can be extremely rewarding as they are generally very motivated and eager students. Adult programmes include general English courses, Exam Preparation programmes (for IELTS and TOEFL), an Overseas Study Preparation Programme, and tailored programmes for corporate clients.
